I love circle lenses! They make my eyes look stunning and the bright colored lenses like the one I'm going to review today makes me look ethereal.
Today's circle lens review is brought to you by Pinky Paradise, the biggest retail merchandiser of circle lenses since 2006. Pinky Paradise is offering all my readers and followers 50% off with the code BUNNIE50. This code is applicable to all yearly lenses except Phantasee, Sclera, and Toric lenses. This code will be valid until October 31, 2016 (US Pacific Standard Time).
I personally love Pinky Paradise for the ease of purchase on their store. Before I have ever collaborated with Pinky Paradise, I have bought lenses from their shop and their customer service is really good. Each purchase of a circle lens comes with a macaron lens case (unless otherwise stated) and a hair velcro.
The Venus Eye Aqua has a diameter of 14mm, 38% water content, 8.6mm base curve and is a yearly lens, which means you can use and store it for a good year before disposing it. If you take really good care of your lenses, they can last you longer than that but of course, it is recommended to replace it at the recommended date.
Lovely macaron lens case
I always order prescription circle lenses since I have really bad vision. I have a -4.50 lens prescription for both of my eyes. If you are someone who also has a bad vision, make sure to get the right prescription from your eye doctor before purchasing circle lenses. Note that some circle lenses doesn't come with plano (prescription) and are only available without prescription.
The Venus Eye Aqua has a dotted limbal ring, dark enough to give you that bigger eye look. On all my circle lens review I always reiterate the importance of the limbal ring or the outer ring of a lens since it's what gives you a dolly look. If the limbal ring would be just a little bit wider by a centimeter and if it is solid black in color, it would give me an even bigger looking eye.
This is one of the most intense circle lenses I've ever worn. I"ll rank this within the top 3, definitely. I love how vibrant the color is. It came out exactly how I wanted it. Obviously this is not a natural looking lens and 4 times out of 5 you'll get asked about your eyes when people see you wearing this. Personally, I have no problem wearing this pair of lenses wherever and whenever I want.
If you're into cosplay and are looking for aqua eyes, the Venus Eye Aqua is the way to go. Also, as I have mentioned earlier, there are some lenses that aren't available with plano and most of the cosplay circle lenses doesn't have plano either.
This particular lens made me really look and feel sexy. It is very comfortable to wear, no problems wearing it for more than 8 hours. I don't think I've ever tried the brand Venus Eye before but this one is really pretty. They slightly remind me of GEO Angel lenses which is my favorite line of circle lenses ever. I'm glad I actually chose this bright aqua color to review.
