LensFlavors EOS Fairy Grey Review

It's been awhile since I've done a circle lens review and I'm really excited to do one today. Today's lens is brought to you by LensFlavors, a budding circle lens online store based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This is honestly a long overdue review since I have gotten in contact with the company in the middle of May, received my lenses the last week of May and the package have been sitting along with my other mails for review for a good month and a half. With work and other matters that life has thrown my way in the last two months, it took me a really long time to get to the products that were sent to me for review consideration and collaboration. I'm glad to finally be able to do this review since circle lenses are one of my favorite products to review.

I was given the chance by LensFlavors to choose the shade that I want to review and I chose the EOS Fairy Grey. In my earlier days of blogging and I've tried out green, violet, gray and even pink lenses but after awhile I began to go down the more natural route and only came to choose various shades of browns and blacks. Now that it has been such a long time for me to do a circle lens review I excitedly chose a grey colored lens to switch things up a little bit.

The EOS Fairy series comes in 6 shades: brown, blue, green, grey, pink and violet.

The EOS Fairy Grey has a diameter of 14.5mm, water content of 38%, a base curve of 8.8mm and 1 year shelf life. It retails for $25.90 at LensFlavors and each purchase includes a macaron case.

Among the grey colored circle lenses I have ever tried, this one is the lightest pair I've ever owned. The limbal ring is present although it is not too dark or too defined to give an extreme dolly eyed effect despite it's diameter of 14.5mm. If you want bigger looking eyes than this, look for something with a darker/blacker outer ring (limbal ring). The design around the iris are in triangles made up of light gray dots which diffuses the natural color of the eyes beautifully and mixing it with the grey of the circle lens. With my natural dark brown eyes, this pair looks icy blue and in some lighting looks piercing icy grey.

Comfort: ♥♥♥♥/5

I give this pair a 5 out of 5 for comfort. I watched a sappy, romantic movie and bawled my eyes out with these lenses on and it still felt comfortable afterwards. Other contact lens usually dry my eyes after crying but this one didn't. Another 5 out of 5 for design since I was aiming for an unusual and interesting look with the grey color and it definitely achieved that. Lastly, a 4 out of 5 for enlargement since I mentioned that despite having a 14.5mm diameter, the limbal ring isn't dark enough to provide the illusion of even bigger eyes than I was hoping for.

This is definitely not a natural looking pair of circle lens for my ethnicity. The EOS Fairy Grey definitely gives an ethereal vibe to my look.

Defnitely check out LensFlavors for their wide assortment of circle lenses to choose from. Right now, they offer free worldwide (standard) shipping for any purchase and a free DHL Express shipping to any orders of $90 and above. The website also accepts various methods of payment like Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal. You can also find them on Facebook (LensFlavors) and Instagram @lensflavors

MAXCLINIC VITAMIN Purifying Oil Foam + Cloud Embo Masssage Brush Review

I received four products from MAXCLINIC in my BNT Beauty Box this month. The first one was a dud (in my personal experience), the MIRACLINIC Ampoule Dressing and Contour Object, and the second one was a so-so, the CIRMAGE Lifting Stick. The third and fourth product I'm reviewing is a combo and it's the VITAMIN Purifying Vitamin Oil Foam and the Cloud Embo Massage Brush. I''m praying that this would be good.

Made with natural ingredients and a handful of natural oils like Jojoba, Olive, Argan, Orange Blossom, Ylang Ylang, & Damask Rose oil for a refreshing cleanse. It also contain Kakadu Plum Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil and Camu Camu extract that specifically targets skin brightening. French clay is also incorporated and is in tiny beads to help remove dead skin cells, blackheads and makeup residue for an intense cleanse while controlling the sebum.

The oil to foam formula ensure that the face is clean while leaving the skin thoroughly hydrated.

To get the best results of the Purifying Vitamin Oil Foam, the White Cloud Embo Brush was also sent for review. This brush is the softest brush I have ever touched. No makeup brush has come close to how dense and soft this brush is.

The opposite side of the brush is the V-pad which has ridges to massage your face to improve blood circulation.

To use both products, simply massage the face with the oil cleanser, with your fingers, this will help breakdown the makeup. Use the V-pad to massage your face. Do gentle, massage strokes all over the face. Take your time. Wet the brush and roll over the face and finally rinse with lukewarm water.

To store the brush simply rinse and clean after use, gently squeeze out the water, fan the bristles slightly to create spaces and to help it dry and store standing up in a dry area.

With makeup on

Using the Vitamin Oil Foam and Cloud Embo Massage Brush

Squeaky clean free of makeup!

The VITAMIN Purifying Vitamin Oil Foam + Cloud Embo Masssage took the crown home out of all the MAXCLINIC products that I've tried this month. The Purifying Vitamin Oil Foam itself is so wonderful to use. It has a burst of citrus scent when you use it that I quite enjoy because it is so refreshing. Using the Cloud Embo Massage Brush is another thing; I love massaging my face with the V-pad and the bristles of the brush itself is so soft and nice on the skin. Seeing my face foaming up with the use of the softest brush I ever tried was such a fun moment for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I highly recommend this product! I'm super impressed by it and to think that this was able to remove all my makeup without too much fuss, this is definitely a must try!

MAXCLINIC CIRMAGE Lifting Stick Review

Last week, I have reviewed the MIRACLINIC Ampoule Dressing and Contouring Object by MAXCLINIC. Today, I'm reviewing another product from the brand called the CIRMAGE Lifting Stick.

It is a unique product that aims to diminish and prevent wrinkles, brighten and whiten the skin, improve skin elasticity, improve blood circulation and lift skin. The lifting stick is inspired by precise meridian lifting techniques which is basically facial acupressure. The form of the Lifting Stick is based off the Gua Sha Massage Instrument which focuses on activating pressure points of the face and neck to improve blood circulation thus reactivating protein and collagen synthesis and helps retain the skin's elasticity for a smoother and tighter skin.

This product is so concentrated that one CIRMAGE Lifting Stick is equivalent to 7 CIRMAGE Lifting Creams!

How to Use:
1.Using side B(or C) lift from the bottom of your neck to the chin 2~3 times and press the back of
your ears
2.Using side B(or C) lift the fatty part of your chin to your ears 1~2 times
3.Using side B(or C) lift the facial skin from the chin to your temples 1~2 times
4.Using side B(or C) lift from the corner of your lips to the temples 1~2 times
5.Using side B(or C) lift from the side of your nose to the temples 1~2 times
6.Using a corner of side A to massage your eye brows from the inner corners, outwards, 1~2 times.
7.Using side B(or C) firm up the baggy area under your eyes from the inner corner of your eyes to the outer corner, 1~2 times
8.Use side A to lift up the skin on your forehead from the eyebrows to the hairline.
9.Using side A glide along the your hairline, starting from the center, down to temples and gently
press your temples for as the last step of your massage.

I have tried out this product for a good, two weeks and I can say there are barely any visible results that I can see. A research was made by the KC Skin Research Center and there were individual results that were yielded after 2-4 weeks of use. Improvement of blood circulation was noted and reduction of facial swelling.

I really love this concept of facial acupressure and massage. I'm currently 26 years old right now and I feel like it's time for me to really take care of my skin and prevent all the wrinkles. I have written several blog posts and reviews about anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products and I've always said that I was not really concerned about wrinkles then. Recently, prior to receiving this lifting stick, I have noticed wrinkles on my forehead which is due to the many facial expressions that I make. My forehead is filled with lines and although I don't think it's ugly and is quite natural as we get older, I would like to continue looking younger and take steps to take care of my skin so that I age gracefully while still looking great.

This lifting stick is fairly easy to use. You really don't have to know A, B and C sides, you can just try and fit the contours of your face to the curves of the stick and then roll it out for a good massage. There's no right or wrong thing in using this product. If there is one thing I would like to mention, it's the formula of the stick. It is hard and reminds me of a dried out glue stick. You need a good amount of strength to drag the stick on your face. Although this might be good to do pressure stimulation, I feel like they could do better by loosening up the product a little bit so that it would be easier for use when dragging along the contours of your face. One application and I can definitely feel the tightening effect of the product on my face.

I'm 50/50 on this product because of the dry formula that I just mentioned above. It would be nicer if it was creamier that way I wouldn't find it hard to move it along my face. On the other hand, I really love the facial massage and acupressure and the overall concept of this product.

What do you think about this product? Do you think you'll give the MAXCLINIC CIRMAGE Lifting Stick a go?

Stylenanda 3CE White Milk Pack to Foam Review

I'm a huge fan of Stylenanda 3CE cosmetics and the brand have expanded to skin care too! I've been following the brand on Instagram @3ce_official and if I'm not mistaken the White Milk line from 3CE has been out since December of 2015.

The White Milk line first started off with the White Milk Cream which is a whitening cream. The line now includes the White Milk Cushion, White Milk Sleeping Pack and the White Milk Pack to Foam.

The White Milk Pack to Foam has milk and clay ingredients that is formulated to refine pores, brighten, soothe and moisturize the skin. The clay pack and foaming combination gives double cleansing to ensure that excess sebum and impurities are removed.

The main ingredients of this product are Milk Protein Extract, White Clay, Oatmeal, Tea Tree, Avocado and Honey.

There are a couple of ways that the brand recommends on using this product:

  1. Milk Face Pack - with it's clay component, you can apply this all over your face, avoiding the eye area, let it sit for a good 10-15 minutes until it hardens, slowly lather into a foam with warm water and rinse. Best to use as a deep cleanser once or twice a week.
  2. Daily Cleanser - apply to damp skin and massage in a gentle rolling motion until you work up a lather and rinse with lukewarm water.
  3. Nose Pack & T-zone Treatment - Big pores and oily T-zone? Apply on the T-zone &/or the nose and leave for 5 minutes, lather and rinse with warm water.

It is actually hard to find clay masks that are in itself, hydrating and a clay mask that rinses off easily. It is especially hard to find a clay mask that does both. With the 3CE White Milk Pack to Foam, I was able to apply this all over my face with ease. The clay was pliable and soft, almost like a medicinal ointment in consistency. It has that subtle milk scent that is so refreshing. Once completely dry on your skin, it doesn't tighten too much around your face like most clay masks do. Most clay masks, once applied and had completely hardened, I find that they are very irritating because of the fact that I can hardly feel any sensation on my skin because of it's tightness. With the White Milk Pack to Foam, it does tighten and harden around your skin but it didn't make me uncomfortable. This product is such a joy to use!

The foaming part of this product is actually very exciting to me. I enjoy watching that pack go from hardened clay to a milky formula (with added water) and to foamy suds on my face. I love how easy it is to massage into the skin and the texture is just amazing. My skin feels like a baby's bum after rinsing, all soft and smooth. It cleanses really thoroughly too and I find no trace of any makeup residue. My face is definitely brighter and more supple, although I can't really tell if my pores got smaller.

This product is definitely a two thumbs up for me. The 3CE White Milk Pack to Foam retails for W18,000 ($18) which I don't think is a bad price for a 90ml product. I personally would buy this again because it is so good. The only thing I want the company to do is to come out with a larger size for this product because I honestly would run out of this quick because I like using it daily. I highly recommend this product and kudos to 3CE for another amazing line!
