[Pinkicon] NEO Vision Cosmo Yearly Lens in Hazel Review & GIVEAWAY

It's circle lens time! I've been fortunate enough to be sent a pair of lenses from Pinkicon. Pinkicon is the largest Hong Kong based circle lens online store and they have over 300 designs and carries a number of brands. They also sell fashion wigs, eyelashes, cosmetics and accessories from known brands from Japan, Korea and Taiwan. They even sell polaroid cameras! ^^

The package comes with a Pinkicon lens wear and care instruction card and a Pinkicon business card on which their various social media handles are listed down. On the back of the card is an area where you can list down the different lenses you have and write down expiry dates for each pair of lenses you have. I find that this is an ingenious idea because honestly, if you have a lot of circle lenses on rotation, it is hard to keep track of their expiry dates. I usually throw out lenses based on their comfort level after a good number of months. I also had previously held on to certain circle lenses for more than their dates of expiry. A lens case is also included.

The lenses I'm gonna review today is the Neo Cosmo Yearly Lens in Hazel. The Neo Cosmo series (not to be confused with Cosmo Circle Lens series) are available in One Day, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly lenses. These are colored lenses that are disposed after the said amount of time.

These lenses are tri-toned, meaning this would make the color of your eyes appear to have 3 different shades all at once and gives your eyes a different kind of look, more pop of color. The shade is Hazel but it actually seems to look like a reddish brown shade and the color Hazel is defined to be brown with gray and green.

The base curve is 8.6mm and the diameter is 14.2mm however this seem to look much smaller than the 14.0mm lenses I have. If it wasn't written on the label, I would think that the diameter on these lenses are 13.8mm.

The lenses are really pretty but are a bit unnatural for me because one, the color stands out too much that it kinda looks weird to me and second, it doesn't have a dark and thick outer ring which makes the eyes dolly. It is understandable since these aren't really circle lenses but colored contacts lens. I'm just so used to a lens that makes my eyes look dolly. But those things aside, these lenses are actually comfortable to wear. They may not be as comfortable as some of my other circle lenses, but I can wear it for four hours without discomfort so for me, that's pretty good.

Comfort: ♥♥♥/5

Too Cool for School Glossy Blaster Tint Favorite Kit Review

Basic Korean makeup usually consists of 3 things: BB Cream, shimmery shadow for the aegyosal and lip tint. You're pretty much good to go with just these 3 products especially if you want a natural look. Gradient lips are also very much on trend and they are very easily done by applying lip tints on the center of the lips and lightly blending them out with a clean finger.

Today's review features Too Cool for School's Glossy Blaster Tint Favorite Kit. The Favorite Kit contains 3 deluxe sized Glossy Blaster Tints from the line. The 6 shades from the line are the following: 01 Chic Red, 02 Giddy Rosy, 03 Dinky Pink, 04 Posh Coral, 05 Merry Tangerine, 06 Edge Purple.

The Favorite Kit is small and I was perfectly fooled into thinking that there was only two lip tints inside.

But lo and behold, there are three!

The Glossy Blaster Tint is a jelly type lip tint that combines the features of a lip tint and a lip gloss. It has 30% water content and 70% oil that helps moisturize, sculpt and plump the lips.

Soft, doe foot applicator which makes it hassle free to apply.  The size is perfect for my lips too!

Worry not about longevity with these tints since the color stays on for hours of wear though the gloss does wear off. As you can see on the swatch photo above, I have wiped off the product but it stained the back of my hand. That stain was a bit hard to take off and I had to really scrub with a wash cloth in order to fully remove them.

 No. 1 Chic Red

No.  2 Giddy Rosy

No. 5 Merry Tangerine

The gloss did wear off after awhile but the tint stays on your lips for a really long time. You must note that the 02 Giddy Rose is lighter in color thus it is also the fastest out of the 3 shades to wear off. Generally, these lip tints lasts for as long as 6 hours without retouching, although it would not be glossy by that time. They are also very moisturizing on the lips but only with the gloss still intact. When the gloss wears off, you would feel a slight dryness but nothing too bad.

The three colors in this kit is all the colors you would need! You have glamorous red, a soft pink and a trendy orange!

Two thumbs up for these tints! I couldn't get enough of them. I really like mixing up the red and pink. All I do is apply the pink shade all over my lips and apply the red on the center for that pretty gradient look.

Are you a lip tint or lipstick kind of gal? If you're a lip tint gal, would you try this out?

Stylenanda 3CE Dangerous Matte Lip Color in #807 Hypnotic Review

Matte lip colors have been around since forever but lately it had been rising on trend.  Makeup companies have been releasing their own version of matte lipsticks in different shades.

I have raved and reviewed the Stylenanda 3 Concept Eyes Lip Colors before and they remain to favorites in my makeup collection.  Recently, 3CE has released new Dangerous Matte Lip Color collection which promises a long lasting, vivid color pay off.

I was sent this gorgeous #807 Hypnotic Dangerous Matte Lip Color.

The Dangerous Matte Lip Color from 3CE comes in the usual 3CE lipsticks packaging. The only difference is the tube itself which is a smooth matte in comparison with their regular lip color tubes which is glossy.

The lip color, #807 Hypnotic, is described as "Fatal, hypnotizing raspberry color. Fatal beauty expressed with deep raspberry color that makes feminine appeal which cannot be expressed with colors of pink or red alone."

This shade of raspberry is bright, feminine and alluring. Wearing it made me feel very happy and girly.  Pink lip colors on my lips generally give me that kind of vibe.  At the same time, Hypnotic also gives me a sense of confidence and power, which a statement red lip often provides.  I feel like a new breed of superhero, ready to save the world with my hypnotizing lips... If there is such a thing! ^^

Up close, with the bright light,  it looks as if my lips have a glossy finish but it does not. It has a powdery, matte finish which the company does promise. The color pay off with this lippie is amazing and I do not expect any less from 3CE. Their lip products have been such a joy to try and wear. Since this is a matte lipstick, there is a little bit of a drag to it when it comes to application but nothing that can't be helped by a little lip balm prior to applying. Even without a balm underneath, the lipstick feels amazing on the lips and it doesn't dry out like most matte lipsticks do. It also doesn't highlight cracks on the lips which seems to be the case in most matte formulation.  It is long lasting and I don't have to worry whenever eating or drinking. Sure, the color does come off a little bit and would transfer to your cup but the color on the lips stay even and not patchy. I can wear this for 5 hours without any touch up and it still looks perfect.  Obviously the color wouldn't be as bright as when first applied but it definitely stays on the lips and still looks as good.

Two thumbs up for this amazing lippie! Purchase the Dangerous Matte Lip Colors from Stylenanda 3CE on their website for $20. For my US readers, 3 Concept Eyes are available at Urban Outfitters online.

SNP Animal Sheet Mask Review

Animals are adorable, but animal face masks are cuter!

bntNews and SNP Biotechnologies has kindly sent us these masks to try out. I received the Animal Panda Whitening Face Mask but surprisingly, the box contains the other masks from the line as well. I believe that bnt has divided the contents of the box to each of us ladies so that readers will get more reviews!

The SNP Face Masks contains coconut water (50% natural coconut juice and 50% coconut water) to nourish and hydrate the skin. The sheets are made of natural pulp which are used to make diapers for sensitive baby skin. FDA Certified color safe dyes are used for the design of the sheets and are used to make products that comes in direct contact with the skin (so no worries!) SNP also stands with animal protection and part of the sales are contributed to the Korea Animal Protection Society.

I'm starting off with my favorite face mask which is the Tiger Wrinkle Mask. This mask improves wrinkles and boosts elasticity of the skin.

This was overflowing with serum and it was dripping out of the packet when I opened it. I hate wasting product so they ended on my legs! ^^ It has slight powdery scent to it which I enjoy because it was not overpowering and didn't irritate my sensitive nose at the time.

The design on this tiger mask is awesome and very detailed and I quite enjoy scaring my niece when I had this on.

My skin absolutely loved this mask. It is great for dry to normal skin, which I have. It left my skin felt supple and slightly tacky. It also made me look glowing and my mom even said my skin looked great (even when I had bad dark circles from the night before!).

My second favorite mask out of the four that was sent. The dragon mask aims to heal and calm damaged skin while restoring moisture and sebum balance.

If I thought that the Tiger Mask has great design, boy, was I even more surprised with the Dragon Mask! The design is so well thought of that and it reminded me of those Japanese dragon masks. I took a Snapchat photo of this and sent it to my friends and they said it was both scary and awesome!

For those with skin problems, this is the mask for you! Since I haven't had any breakouts lately, I was more concerned of my redness and uneven skin tone. I was happy to see calm and a more even skin tone after having this on for 20 minutes.

I still had some of the serum left on my face when I took this off at the end of 20 minutes and I quite liked it. I just massaged the rest of the concentrate on my face and happily watched myself in the mirror because I couldn't believe that my bare face could look that good.

My least favorite mask of the four is the Panda Mask. I was so disappointed by this since it promises skin brightening which I desperately need because my face has been dull because of stress and weather.

I already knew from the moment I opened the packet that I might not like this mask simply because I can smell alcohol in it. Since my skin has been very dry I'm really afraid of using products with high alcohol content since it dries out the skin even more.

I was completely true about the not liking this mask because I couldn't even leave it on for more than 10 minutes on my face. While I usually really like products with cooling sensation, I couldn't stand the cooling effect this had on my face. My face felt like it was drying up despite having more than enough serum on it. In fact, the serum was dripping all over the place when I used this.

I didn't really see brightening results and the only thing I got from this mask was a very annoying cooling sensation and a very irritating smell. The design is still pretty cool and I quite like how it looks but not how it feels!

I always look forward to using products with the word aqua with it because I associate it with being fresh and hydrating. The Otter Mask aims to restore skin balance and protect it while providing energy.

As per Kim's suggestion in her own review of these masks, I opened the packet over the sink. She said that the serum was stained with blue dye so I was worried that I would get the things in my room stained as well. Thankfully, the serum in my packet wasn't stained with blue dye. I even scraped the rest of the serum and applied it all over my arms.

I don't think his mask is as amazing as the Tiger and Dragon masks but it did make my makeup last better and longer throughout the day. I took this off after 20 minutes and actually enjoyed how supple my skin felt. I had moisturized skin afterwards and that's all I cared about. This mask also has a slight powdery scent to it like the Tiger mask. My little niece absolutely loves how the otter design looks than all the other ones. I guess it's because this looks less scary and more friendly.

These masks are amazingly fun and perfect for girls' spa nights! I personally would stay away from the Panda Mask but they are overall great sheet masks. I had no problems with fitting them into my face except that the sheet above my lips keeps on falling on my upper lip.

These are my thoughts on these masks. Hopefully you enjoyed reading them and make you want to try them out too! I'm sure you'll have fun scaring people while getting yourself amazing skin in the process! ^^
