Helen Park Jalousian Anti Wrinkle Cream Review

One of the concerns women has as they grow older is the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles. We can't really prevent these from appearing but we can slow down the appearances of these lines that shows our age.

From Helen Park Cosmetics comes the Jalousian Anti Wrinkle Cream which claims to restore skin damaged by UV rays and external stimuli. It is water based and facilitates the formation of moisture on the skin.

This cream has a slight perfume scent to it that doesn't bother the nose. It is not a thick cream but a light one and once applied into the skin it feels like water and is easily and quickly absorbed into the skin. The feel of application is very similar to some "watery" products like the Mizon Returning Starfish Cream except that the actual product texture is different. Whereas the Mizon Starfish Cream is gelatinous, the Jalousian Anti-Wrinkle Cream is like a lotion.

Being in the age where there's no appearances of wrinkles yet, I am mostly concerned about prevention. I can't say that this product is effective in its claims of being an anti wrinkle cream but I can say it is a fairly good moisturizer.  A skin that is hydrated shaves off a few years out of your age. Adequately hydrated skin has better elasticity and because of this, fine lines and wrinkles appear less.

Two thumbs up for being a good moisturizer. With it's water based properties it is refreshing to apply at night. Quick tip, I realized that with waterdrop products and sheet masks, they feel great on application if you had them in the fridge for a few hours. Now, that it's summertime, we definitely need that cool and refreshing face product application instead of feeling greasy.
