Verikos Collagen Tightening Cream

I was just rambling on about my dry skin the other day and how the Verikos Aloe Calming Oil doesn't fully moisturize my skin until the morning but I found something that fulfills my moisturizing need from the same brand!

Introducing the Verikos Collagen Tightening Cream with Hydrolyzed Collagen. Collagen is a protein the found in the skin, hair and bone. Collagen maintains the moisture of the skin and controls elasticity.

Starting off with the packaging, this product is in a pretty cream colored jar with a silver lid. It feels weighty and sturdy  that if you drop it on a hard wood floor or cement floor, I don't think it will break (don't quote me on that one because I won't try and drop mine just to test this theory out). I'm a sucker for packaging and even if this is particularly simple I really love it.

In this full sized jar, it contains 75ml of product and it retails at GMarket (a Korean online store that ships internationally) for $25. Pretty good price for the amount of product that you get.

This product smells wonderful! It smells citrus-y: think sugar and freshly squeezed lemons. I tried looking at the ingredient list for what makes it smell like that and I saw that one component is Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Seed Oil. Come to think of it, the scent also reminds me of my Tony Moly Lemon Seed Massage Cream

In the jar it looks like a yellow transluscent ointment, the texture however, is gel-like. This product sinks into the skin wonderfully and leaves it feeling moisturized without the stickiness or greasiness that other moisturizers do. A little goes a long way with this product. I only dip a finger into the jar and a small amount of product sticks to it and I apply it to half of my face. It takes me two finger dips to cover my whole face!

I got such amazing result with this product. When I woke up the next morning the first time I tried this product out, my skin felt so fresh, nicely moisturized and supple. It truly is a tightening cream since the area under my eyes which is usually baggy and puffy even with adequate rest was not as bad as usual. There weren't any puffiness and it was also brighter than usual. Waking up with nice skin wasn't just a dream anymore, it became a reality. I remember using the Tony Moly Egg Pore Tightening Pack a couple of months back and it has the same results, only more long lasting.

I think I found my Holy Grail moisturizing cream. It has such wonderful effects on my skin and from all the skin care products I have tried so far, this is the best. My skin hasn't been dry since I started using it. My skin also became softer, smoother and brighter. I have hyperpigmentation from my recent breakout andthey usually go away after a month or two but since using this product I have noticed that they have been significantly lighter. My skin tone in general became more youthful.

I cannot rave enough about this product since I started using it. Yep, I would definitely repurchase this product even if the shipping fee would cost me a lot. So far, the only site I found that ships this product internationally is GMarket.

This is great for sensitive skin and I believe it has the 5-free formula (No paraben, talc, artificial dye, synthetic perfume, alcohol). I highly recommend this for those with dry skin and those who have wrinkles or want to prevent them.

    1. I really have dark circles and eye bags too and I haven't yet found any product that lightens the under eye area and reduces the puffiness of the bags except for this one. It's a facial cream but if applied underneath the eye area it does give better results than any eye cream I've ever tried.

  5. I'm going to take note of this cream when I'm done with my Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream (even though I love it!) just because collagen creams are my new favorite thing and this one sounds absolutely perfect for me. :)

  7. Oh wow, I need to try that so badly! I'm glad you introduce this to us. I always find it interesting to see products claiming that it will tighten our skin coz it sounds far-fetched but I'm glad to see promising products like that, I can't wait to try it out! Thanks for the review. <3

Take care always, love Christine ~ xo

  9. This cream seems good as eye cream! I don't have dry skin but my under eyes are almost like fat panda's and I begin to see some fine lines as well this might be a good cream for that. Thank you for your review Joanne ^^ <3
