Sephora VIB Haul: NARS Guy Bourdin One Night Stand Cheek Palette, Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

Two weeks ago Sephora had their VIB Sale and I even made a post about it to remind you makeup lovers to take advantage of that sale.

Albeit low on funds, I wanted to purchase these two items that I had my eyes on for awhile now.

Ever since I walked into Sephora a year ago and had a whiff of this lovely perfume, I've been meaning to get it but I just can't handle it's price. I've asked for samples of it every time I go into the store and with this sale, I finally caved in and bought it as a present for myself.

It is indeed a Flowerbomb since it's a concoction of  "sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli" according to product description. This smells so heavenly and one spritz of this lasts all day long. I've always gotten compliments on how I smell whenever I'm wearing this scent when I was still using up the samples. Now, I'm just glad that I have a bottle for myself.

This is a 1.7 oz and regularly retails for $115.

The next one I bought is this Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection Limited Edition One Night Stand Cheek Palette. I first saw this from a Sephora email and I have been waiting for the sale to get it. I missed out on last year's NARS cheek palette that I wanted to get so badly but I am very happy with this one.

It features my favorite blush, NARS Deep Throat, which I am nearly out of. It has two of NARS best cheek powders, the Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blush. Also included is a highlighter - Devotee, Mistinguette, a bright pink blush and Goulue a medium pink blush that is slightly plum-y.

All of the products in this palette is wonderful and they are all very wearable. The Laguna bronzer which I stayed away from because I thought it looks too shimmery in the pan and when swatched is so different when actually applied, it almost seemed matte. And don't be put off by Mistinguette, the bright pink blush since it actually adds a really nice pink flush to the cheeks.

Upper Left to Right: Devotee, Mistinguette, Orgasm
Bottom Left to Right: Laguna, Deep Throat, Goulue

This palette retails for $65 and it's limited edition so get your hands on it before it runs out by the end of the Holiday season.

Definitely in love with my purchases from Sephora. This might be a tiny haul but both of them were a great score from the sale.

Any of you ladies purchased these two? Let me know what you think... and I would love to know what you got from the sale as well if you did.

Always stay pretty!

    1. I know right? NARS packaging is so pretty but I sometimes wish their cases are not rubberized coz they collect dirt more and it's so hard to clean.
