MAC Riri Woo Lipstick Review and Swatches

I have currently been obsessed with bright, bold, red lips. I recently purchased this infamous MAC Riri Woo which was launched a few months back and is being relaunched with Rihanna's collab collection with MAC Cosmetics which is the Riri Hearts MAC Fall Collection. I'm kinda sad that I got this lipstick a few days before the collection was released because I have the regular MAC lipstick packaging. The packaging for the Riri Collection is awesome - pink and rose gold.

Riri Woo is a Retro Matte lipstick which has vibrant and great color payoff with a matte finish. I really love this lipstick and it is a great red color that I believe is perfect for all skin tones. I have only one problem with this it - it doesn't apply smoothly. This is common with most matte lipsticks since they are of a drier formula. Other than that this lipstick is absolutely great. It has a longer staying power than the other MAC lipstick finishes (except the MAC Pro Longwear lipcremes). It also doesn't bleed out which is great if you're the kind of girl who doesn't use lip liners.

Loving this lipstick so much. If you're looking to buy a matte, red lipstick this would be it!

  1. OMG! Such a pretty color!! Lucky girl <3

  2. It's so pretty, I've recently bought Ruby Woo and absolutely love it. The only problem is that I find the matte finishes quite hard to apply so have to use a lip brush. I wonder how similar Ruby and Riri Woo are x

    1. I personally don't have the Ruby Woo but I have seen swatches of both side by side and they are so similar that you couldn't tell which is which.

  3. What a lovely colour! I also like the detail that they put onto the lipstick. :3 This makes it really unique.
As I'm a bit too lazy to wear lipliner, I should really remember this lipstick... (=^.^=)

  4. great post :) loved the shade
